Tracemint

FAQ

Questions, answered plainly

What Tracemint does, what it does not do, and where its data comes from.

What does Tracemint do, and what does it not do?

Tracemint lets you launch a real SPL token from your own wallet, gives every launch a public Deployer Passport, and offers a free Checker for any Solana token. It does not create liquidity pools, hold funds, give investment advice, promise returns, or label tokens safe or unsafe. It shows on-chain data and leaves the decision to you.

Is Tracemint non-custodial?

Yes. Your wallet creates the mint, holds the full supply, and signs every transaction. Tracemint never receives your keys, never signs for you, and never asks for a seed phrase or private key. If any site asks for one, leave.

What is the difference between devnet and mainnet?

Devnet is a test network with free test SOL, ideal for rehearsing the launch flow. Tokens on devnet have no real value and are not tradable on mainnet venues. Mainnet-beta is the live network where launches cost real SOL. The network switch in the launch form controls which one you use.

What does launching cost in network fees?

The cost is rent for the mint account, your token account and the metadata account, plus small transaction fees. On mainnet there is also a Metaplex protocol fee for creating metadata. The launch form shows an estimate before you sign, and your wallet shows the exact amount for each transaction.

Why are revoked authorities not enough on their own?

Revoking mint and freeze authority and locking liquidity are now defaults on most launchpads, so they say little on their own. Who deployed a token and how its supply is distributed says more: the age and history of the deployer wallet, how many other tokens it created, how much the creator still holds, and how concentrated the top holders are.

How is deployer data gathered, and what are its limits?

Everything is read live from Solana RPC. The creator is taken from the Tracemint launch record, or from the fee payer of the earliest transaction on the mint. Wallet age comes from paging signature history up to 5,000 transactions. Other mints are found by scanning the wallet's most recent transactions for mint initializations, so the count is reported as "found in the last N transactions". Public RPCs can rate limit or prune old history, in which case fields are marked "could not load, retry".

How do I add liquidity?

After launch, the token page links to Raydium and Meteora. You create the pool yourself on those platforms by signing with your wallet. Tracemint does not add, lock or manage liquidity.

Can I check a token that was not launched on Tracemint?

Yes. Paste any SPL token mint into the Checker, choose its network, and you get the same report. No account is needed.

Do you ever ask for my seed phrase?

Never. Tracemint only asks your wallet to connect and to approve transactions. Treat any request for a seed phrase or private key as a scam.
